The Den

Kick Back
& Unwind

mountain-seperator

The Den was designed with a single purpose: to be a soulful sanctuary for unwinding after a long day on the river. Every detail here is intentional, from the warmth of the wood-burning stove on cooler nights to the original art on the walls—commissioned from the same close friend who painted our skateboards. We’ve curated this space to be a coherent extension of the Patagonian wild, filled with items that hold deep personal meaning to us. We invite you to sink into the couch, make yourself at home, and become a part of the Vista Patagonia story.

Read, Play, And Connect

Books

You’ll find my grandfather’s cherished collection of National Geographic magazines dating back to 1961, alongside a growing "guest library" of novels left behind by anglers from around the globe. There is a story waiting for you on these shelves.

Magazines

For those who want to keep their head in the game even while relaxing, we maintain an extensive collection of fishing magazines and journals. It’s the perfect place to brush up on local hatches or find inspiration for tomorrow’s cast while enjoying the quiet crackle of the fire.

Cards & Games

After dinner, the Den becomes a hub for friendly competition. We have a variety of board games, card decks, and dominoes ready for a post-meal match. While many guests find themselves headed for a well-earned sleep early, these games are here for those who want to stretch out the evening with a little camaraderie.

Music

We believe the right soundtrack is essential to a relaxing evening. While our team retires to their quarters at the end of the night, the house system remains yours to enjoy. Use the dedicated iPad and Spotify to find your favorite playlist and set the mood for your final glass of wine.
